Touching moment

I was shooting at the opening of the exhibition „SMILE“ at Gerhardt Braun Gallery with the art of Vanessa Küstner.

The event was almost over when I saw a face in the crowd I haven‘t seen and photographed during the evening. He was a quite interesting person, well dressed and attractive, and intensively involved talking to a lady.

So I took my chance and found a position to catch one or two of the moments, these two were there and interacting with each other.

The location was quite dark, narrow and it was very crowed around me and the two people on the photo. So I used ISO 3200 and an aperture of 1.4 to have a 1/250 as shutterspeed to ashure no motion blur and have a short depth of sharpness for only his face.

While taking the photo I was noticed and so got in contact with Gregor Michael Walz. He is also a photographer and a well known model. Thanks Gregor for beeing my model in that situation!
